Today Sheryl and I had the privilege (wink wink) to watch the boys begin brewing their first batch of beer. If I had not gotten a little bit distracted about 20 minutes in with a shopping invitation (thanks Sheryl), I would have taken some pictures of the brew during the process. We did make it back in time to watch them finish up and I have to say, I sure hope it smells better in 6 weeks than it does now... Pheweey.
It all started with a brew kit (yeast, malt, hops, sugar, vigor, bottler), shown in the picture below, which will yield roughly 50 hefenweiser flavored ale beers. Should be interesting. Another thing added to my list of life accomplishments. Check. Ha, mom and dad you must be so proud. Well, actually in all honestly, my dad is probably boiling over with pride.
