Brewing Continued. . .

And the beer brewing process continues...

Stage 1 Fermentation

Stage 2 Fermentation

22 ounce bottles, all clean

Siphoning beer to leave sediment (yeast, barley) in bottom

Leftover sediment

Dusty says "Yummy"!

Testing the density with a hydrometer (alcohol content).
Right on mark, good to go.

Kevin begins bottling the first beer.

Bottle capper.

Ta-Da!

First finished beer, all it needs is a label.

24- 22 ounce beers and 6- 12 ounce beers

And a sample for the brewers...

A toast to... BEER!

I tasted the beer as well, and the flavor was really good. The last and final stage of the process, and the only missing ingredient, involves leaving the beer in the bottles for 4 more weeks where they will develop carbonation. The beer is actually done in respect to flavor and alcohol, so it just tasted like a flat beer. Overall, I am impressed, wasn't expecting it to be so straight-forward.
