And the Winner Is....

Puerto Vallarta here we come!

Who said I cannot be spontaneous? Well, probably everyone I know, actually. I don't blame them either, I almost had a heart attack while attempting to plan this year's "relaxing trip" away from home.

First of all, I have a really hard time just picking a random vacation spot, not knowing what activities will be available or which restaurants will be near by, how many connecting flights we will have to take, and how long we will spend traveling versus how much time we will spend vacationing. Needless to say, there is normally A LOT of planning involved in the Carr yearly vacation. For some reason Chris and I decided we needed to take our 2010 vacation NOW, not later. Call it stress, call it the winter blues, but we want to relax in the sun, and Puerto Vallarta is only a 2 and 1/2 hour direct flight from Houston. Waterfalls, snorkeling, rain forest zip lines, off-roading ATVs, all inclusive food, drink, and entertainment, right on the beach, and we got a heck of a deal!

7 days before our trip, we bought the last 2 tickets on the plane, Chris' seat is confirmed and mine is apparently a phantom, HA!, literally. I hope I end up on the same flight as Chris because that is the only flight out of Houston and that could definitely ruin the entire vacation. I will let you know how it goes.
