The weather has definitely not been on our side lately. Nevertheless, the concrete was finally poured last night, day 7. Here are some more pictures of the progress that was made this weekend, and remember the funny stories Chris had been telling me (contractors hitting the corner of the house), not soo funny anymore. 9 bricks later the house is back together.
DAY 5
Before we left town Saturday the contractors framed the new patio and replaced the bricks on the corner of the house that they had knocked out.
DAY 6
Sunday was a rain day. I wish I had taken a picture of this, but I didn't. Just picture about 4 inches of standing rain water inside of the frame that was set the previous day- a muddy mess.
DAY 7
Finally, something to look at besides dirt and destruction! Still not done. They did not leave our house until 11:30 last night, when one of our neighbors actually came over and ask when they would be wrapping up. Pretty embarrassing. One more day of concrete work and then cleanup- still a muddy mess.
