July 4th at The Frio

We had a really great, long holiday weekend at our annual family vacation spot, Garner State Park, on the Frio River. Since 1985 my family has been making the 4 hour trip to spend a week fishing, floating, and dancing with 2 of our really close friends and their families. Yes there is a dance every night and it is a ton of fun! This year was most definitely a unique experience from all of the past years. Since our last trip, our vacationing group has had 3 weddings and 4 babies, and now has a total of 10 dogs, 11 couples, 7 kids, and a partridge in a pear tree. It was quite humorous and entertaining. Life really does change sooo quickly. Here are a few pics from the weekend (mostly of my niece Cayley, she stole my heart). I really wish I would have taken my camera out more often, but I was too busy enjoying the time catching up with everyone. Hope your 4th was great too!
